A stretch of roads in Andrew Ganj in South Delhi are soon to be named after the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput; after the clearance given by the area’s civic body. Sushant who turned 35 on Thursday, was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on 14th June, 2020. The Andrew Ganj Councillor sent the proposal to the civic body’s road naming and renaming committee after the late actor as a tribute to him.
The written proposal to rename the stretch which is 221m long and 11m wide stated that a large number of people residing in that area are from Bihar have demanded to change the name of the road from Andrew Ganj to Indira Camp from Road No 8 to Sushant Singh Rajput Marg. This being a simple way of paying respect to a brilliant star who lost his battle from life.
